Believe it or not, I once thought that having a great career and starting my own design company are my end goals. Not until this great opportunity presented itself to me did I realize that there is so much more I can do aside from designing spaces and managing a business.

I remember when I was about to finish university, I was so excited and eager to find a job as an architect. My plan was simple— to work for the biggest and renowned architectural firm in the country.

Sounds lovely, isn’t it? But fast forward to today, here I am sitting in my office. No, I am not working for any firm at the moment nor am I in one of the highest skyscrapers in the city— and that’s okay.

Finding your passion has always been exciting and nerve-wracking.

The thing is, most of us want the easy path, may it be in work, school, or in choosing our hobbies. And everyone is giving us their advice, telling us to “find your passion”.
